The Department of Education was introduced in Kalaguru Bishnu Rabha Degree College with its establishment in 1990 and has been a part of the college curriculum regularly since then.The founder teachers of Kalaguru Bishnu Rabha College established as a single entity college in 1988 continued the teaching of Education as a pass course subject in Undergraduate level in the newly established Degree section with the nomenclature of Kalaguru Bishnu Rabha Degree College in 1990. The Department of Education is an important part of the College that reaches out to the students from different parts of Udalguri, Darrang and Sonitpur districts as a compulsory core subject for students offering Pass Course or Regular Course. At the initial stage, the Department offered only Pass Course but gradually it has introduced Honours Course at Undergraduate Level.
